Load plate test

It is a test conducted on soil to determine its bearing capacity and the settlement values of the soil under different loads. It is one of the important tests to determine the foundation level of the structure and the type of foundation according to the load values and the resulting settlement.
Tools:
1- A cylinder with a diameter of 30 cm, on which we install a hydraulic press connected to a lever. The load and compression are increased through the lever.
2- Three gauges
3- Iron pieces placed on top of the press, which in turn is placed on the cylinder, under any heavy equipment, ensuring the equipment weighs no less than 20 tons.
4- Two iron angles are placed and adjusted with the gauges on them.
5- Hydraulic jack for loading and pressing .
6- Tables for taking and recording meter readings.
